Started working on a bunch of video tutorials (finally, I know). First of all, there will be two free series, about a dozen episodes each, uploaded to my YouTube channel. One will be focusing on traditional media, like pens and markers and how to combine them with digital tools for best results. The other will be a collection of tips and tricks regarding digital techniques and various, sometimes obscure, applications.
In addition to these, I will be releasing three larger tutorials via Gumroad (time to keep up with the madness), where I'll be going through the whole process of creating cool stuff like futuristic armors and alien mercenaries
I'll be posting updates regarding all of these on my AK-ART Facebook page, so just check over there from time to time.

'Minotaur'on Steam
End of the year busy as always. 'Minotaur' is getting refined, taking its final shape. The game is already on Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/680590/Minotaur), so check it out for all the latest news, screenshots and clips. In the meantime, AK-ART is wrapping up a couple of side projects as well, so some new art is bound to show up here on DA as well as on the studio's website.

New Gumroad tutorial available!
UPDATE: An additional tutorial (great addition to the one described below), where I go over almost 30 scripts for Shade3D, is up! Check it out here: https://gum.co/qYwP
Brand new tutorial about creating illustration with Shade3D, DAZ and Photoshop is available through Gumroad here: https://gum.co/pBsWX
Shade3D is a very useful and comprehensive tool when it comes to creating a solid base for digital painting. Throughout this video, I go over my “Lunch Break” image step-by-step, looking at all the elements and how were they set up: from modeling (with focus on mechanical and hard-surface elements), through creation of shaders, si
'Minotaur' demo available!
A demo for 'Minotaur', the first game set in 'The Universe of Seven' (www.uof7.com) is out! I've been attached to U7 for almost two years now as a lead artist and it's cool to see the things coming to life. More goodies to come but in the meantime, head to the project's website and give the demo a try. It's not long but should give you a good understanding of the mechanics and gameplay.
Demo is for PC as the moment but a version for OSX is coming soon.

Thank you, I seriously need some guidance.
I want to learn to create deck plans for small star-ships: starting with a live in 5 crew up to say 45
I have figured that I want to use 3 meter/10 cubes approximately as basic modules for the interior.
for example a crude officer cube: fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/201…
In locations that are less high due to the exterior hull shape, I would likely place a "Sit down" duty station, or a "Tech fill wedge".
I have Ideas of what I would like to do; but next to no idea how to make them real.
